Head of New Business

SciLeads is going from strength to strength and has recently welcomed Dan Wakefield as its Head of New Business. Dan has built a career in sales and leadership, previously working for the review platform Trustpilot and most recently ContentCal, an Adobe company.

In his new position, Dan will play a vital role in mentoring and leading our inside sales teams as we continue to expand into the wider global market. SciLeads was recently recognised as the country’s fastest-growing tech company in the Deloitte Fast50 Awards, and Dan will help us continue this trajectory by reaching new scientific sales and marketing professionals, as well as strengthening our current client relationships.

Dan was attracted to the role at SciLeads because of the company’s ambition and the opportunity to be an integral part of our growth strategy. He feels SciLeads is a fantastic product that makes scientific prospecting so much easier for our clients, and he looks forward to showing even more companies the revenue increase Scileads can bring them.

Living in London with a young family, he is delighted with SciLeads’ flexible hours and remote working structure that gives SciLeads’ employees the ability to manage their time around their other commitments. Dan is also a keen sports fan and enjoys watching and playing football in his spare time.
