State of the Market Report – Atomic Force Microscopy

We’ve used our Data Visualisation feature to show the overview of Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). This graphical representation of the search results provides you with an accessible way to understand trends, patterns, and outliers from the extensive SciLeads data.

In this chart which details which tradeshows Atomic Force Microscopy researchers attend, you can see that the American Chemical Society (ACS) Spring has had 4.3k researchers present and ACS Fall has had 3.5k. The Material Research Society (MRS) Fall is a close third with 3.3k researchers.

The Data Visualisation feature provides a high-level overview of the statistics, whereas users can also click the ‘Researcher Tab’ in the SciLeads platform to explore the poster talk sessions in more detail.

As you can see, the US has had the most researchers for AFM with 11.6k, followed by China with 9.6k. The UK and Germany both have 4.1k.

A deep dive into the data shows that the state of California has by far the most researchers with 3.0k. Followed by New York with 1.7k researchers.
