State of the Market Report – Next Generation Sequencing

We’ve used our Data Visualisation feature to show the overview of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). This graphical representation of the search results provides you with an accessible way to understand trends, patterns, and outliers from the extensive SciLeads data.

In this chart which details which tradeshows NGS researchers attend, you can see that the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) has had 2.7k researchers present. Whereas, Plant and Animal Genome (PAG) and American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) have both had 1.1k researchers present.

The Data Visualisation feature provides a high-level overview of the statistics, whereas users can also click the ‘Researcher Tab’ in the SciLeads platform to explore the poster talk sessions in more detail.

As you can see, the US has the highest number of researchers for NGS with 8.5k, followed by China with 5.5k and Italy with 4.3k.

A deep dive into the data shows that the state of California has the most researchers with 1.8k. Texas and New York both have 1.1k researchers.
