Laura Haldane wins Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Laura Haldane from SciLeads wins 'Entrepreneur of the Year' at the Women in Tech Awards 2023.

SciLeads, a scientific lead generation software provider, is delighted to announce that Laura Haldane, Co-Founder and VP of Sales and Marketing, has been named Entrepreneur of the Year at this year's prestigious Women in Tech Awards.

This category, sponsored by Allstate Northern Ireland, recognises outstanding female entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the tech sector. The annual event, which took place this year on 25th May at The Europa Hotel in Belfast, celebrates and recognizes the remarkable achievements of women who are making significant strides in the field of technology.

Laura Haldane was named Entrepreneur of the Year category due to her remarkable vision, leadership, and exceptional entrepreneurial journey with SciLeads. Laura has displayed an unwavering commitment to innovation, driving the company's growth and success in the highly competitive tech landscape, most recently helping to launch SciLeads new BioPharma product.

Upon receiving the award, Laura expressed her gratitude and appreciation, saying, "I’m really honoured to be recognised as the Entrepreneur of the Year at the Women in Tech Awards. With her innovative mindset and dedication to driving positive change, Laura is paving the way for a more inclusive and diverse technology sector. Outside of work, she is part of a mentorship scheme that provides aspiring female entrepreneurs with help and support in their new businesses. Laura also set up a service with her husband called 'PAW' which stands for Pet Adoption Website and provides a central online database for animal charities to showcase available pets for fostering and/or adoption.
