What attracted you to SciLeads, and how has it compared to your expectations so far?
What attracted me to SciLeads was the opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing company where I could build and develop my sales skills. The comprehensive training program for the SDR role stood out in particular, as I was coming in straight after university with limited sales experience. After a few months with the company, it has definitely lived up to my expectations. The training program provided a strong foundation, helping me understand both the business and my role, which set me up for success early on.
How did you find the interview process, and what stood out to you?
I really appreciated the clear communication and expectations throughout the interview process. From early on, I had a good understanding of what each stage would involve and the overall timeline. Responses after each round were prompt, and I felt comfortable asking questions, which made the experience feel transparent and supportive.
How has the Sales Development Pathway supported your growth and development so far?
The Sales Development Pathway has really supported my growth so far. The training was structured to gradually introduce the business, starting with the overall landscape and what SciLeads does, before moving into the specifics of my role and day-to-day responsibilities. Nothing felt overwhelming, which made it easier to build confidence step by step. The role definitely pushes you outside of your comfort zone, but through the training and ongoing support, I have built strong resilience and feel much more confident navigating challenges and setbacks.
How has the flexible work environment at SciLeads helped you?
The flexible work environment at SciLeads has made a big difference for me. Having the ability to set my own hours means I can structure my day in a way that works best for me, including taking time to go to the gym or taking breaks as needed. It has really helped me maintain a strong work-life balance.
What advice would you give to someone starting as an SDR at SciLeads?
My advice would be to reach out to your team and managers whenever you need support. Everyone is genuinely supportive and wants to see you succeed, so don’t hesitate to use the resources available to you. It’s also important to build confidence in yourself. The role can be challenging and will push you outside of your comfort zone, but embracing those challenges is a big part of the growth process.
