Q&A with Téo Ardanaz, Senior SDR at SciLeads

What attracted you to SciLeads, and how has it compared to your expectations so far?

I was attracted to SciLeads for a few different reasons. I was very curious to learn more about the sales cycle and the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. I was also impressed by the work culture promoted by SciLeads, including the flexibility, support, and challenge offered by the role.

How did you find the interview process, and what stood out to you?

The interview process was very straightforward and transparent. Having gone through various other interviews as well, I was grateful for the feedback along each step of the journey, and how open they were to questions and feedback.

How has the Sales Development Pathway supported your growth and development so far?

The pathway has been tremendous for my career growth. First, the training is amazing. I felt very supported throughout the onboarding, and learned a ton in my first few weeks. These aids continued as I ramped up in my role, allowing me to ask lots of questions and truly feel like part of a team. I was fortunate enough to progress quickly to Senior SDR in under three months, and then be promoted to Account Manager shortly after (a role that I look forward to starting in July). This just shows how much opportunity there is here!

What do you enjoy the most about your role as a Senior Sales Development Representative?

I love the challenge and the opportunity to be competitive. While there are always targets to hit, the role really allows you to shape your day in whatever way will allow you to be your best. You also get to explore many different aspects of the field, which is amazing for anyone who is curious!

How has the flexible work environment at SciLeads helped you?

If you are wondering about SciLeads, let me be the first to say that the work environment really is flexible! Life happens, but at SciLeads, you always feel you can achieve balance. From being able to step away for an appointment to taking lunch breaks at the most convenient times, working at SciLeads means that you will be able to do the things you want to do, all while being part of an incredible team.

What advice would you give to someone starting as an SDR at SciLeads?

Be curious. Ask questions (you won’t annoy anyone, I promise!). Be competitive, but be ready to join the most supportive team out there!
