Explain your journey at SciLeads over the years.
When I first joined SciLeads, I started in a supporting role within the sales ops team, focusing on helping the team run campaigns for our SDRs. Over time, as I learned more about our sales process and took on new challenges, I then progressed into the Senior Sales Ops role and worked within the new marketing team. It’s been exciting to grow alongside the company, taking on more ownership for campaigns and helping the team hit their targets.
How has the company changed since you started?
The biggest change has been our amazing growth within SciLeads. When I started, we were a smaller team figuring out different processes as we went. Now, we’ve grown so much in terms of people, structure, and our global reach. But the nice thing is that the culture hasn’t changed, and the team is always supporting each other.
How has SciLeads supported your professional development?
SciLeads has given me the space to grow and take on new responsibilities at my own pace. I’ve been encouraged to step out of my comfort zone, whether that means leading new campaigns, learning new tools, or sharing ideas within our team meetings. Our personal development allowance is also a great bonus if you want to expand your skills through training courses or attending conferences.
Can you share a memorable moment or achievement that made you especially proud to be part of SciLeads?
A memorable moment for me is our annual company-wide meeting in Belfast. It’s a great chance to reflect on the year’s achievements as a team, and hear how our work in the Sales Ops team contributes to our growth. You can really see how the campaigns we run shape a noticeable increase in revenue. It reminds me how every role within the company genuinely contributes to success.
What do you do as a Senior Sales Operations Executive, and what do you enjoy the most about it?
In my current role, I help run campaigns for our SDRs while thinking of new ways to target potential customers. We have refined this process a lot over the years in terms of reporting and using new tools. I’ve also recently stepped into our STEP and partnership side of the company, supporting our partnerships manager in growing our collaboration with companies in the life science sector and managing relationships with US state grant managers. I enjoy how every day can be different and present new challenges.
How has the flexible work environment at SciLeads helped you?
Flexible working is a great benefit of working at SciLeads. I’m able to structure the day that suits my needs to maintain that work-life balance. For me, that means going to the gym at lunchtime and getting some morning steps in before our daily stand-up!
What excites you the most about the future of SciLeads and your role in it?
I’m really excited about how much we’re still growing and the opportunity to be part of our new marketing team. Every week can bring a new challenge and a chance to try out ideas to improve how we work. I love that SciLeads really encourages you to make an input, it’s a great feeling to know that your contribution genuinely matters.
